Carolina Rezende Monteiro de Castro is the data controller for personal data collected directly through SegurPT (a brand used in her professional activity; Insurance Agent, ASF registration no. 326597230).
Purposes and legal bases
Data submitted in a quote request is processed to: receive the request; analyse the request; contact you about the request; carry out pre-contractual diligences; comply with legal obligations applicable to insurance mediation; and ensure the technical security of the website. Legal bases include pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interest in the security of the service.
Categories of data
Depending on the insurance product, we may process: name; phone number; email (optional); Portuguese tax number (NIF); postcode; date of birth; vehicle registration number; date of first driving licence; product-specific details; remarks you choose to share; and technical origin information (landing page, traffic source and campaign parameters). The public Health form does not ask for diagnoses, illnesses, medication or other clinical data.
Recipients
Data is processed by the controller identified above and, where applicable to the follow-up of your request, shared with Generali Seguros, S.A. and with technology providers that keep this website running (hosting and infrastructure), bound by confidentiality. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Retention
Data is kept only for as long as necessary to handle your request and follow up the process, and for the period required by legal obligations applicable to insurance mediation.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact: carolcastro@parceiros.tranquilidade.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
WhatsApp contact
If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp (+351 911 114 167), the conversation takes place on that application, which has its own privacy policy. We only process on WhatsApp the data you decide to share on that channel.
International transfers
Data is stored on contracted infrastructure (hosting and database) configured in accordance with the GDPR. The European Union location is confirmed in the production configuration; should any transfer outside the EU occur, appropriate safeguards under the GDPR will be ensured.
Security
Data is transmitted over a secure connection (HTTPS) and stored with restricted access. The website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools (see Cookies Policy).
